A Day Without an Immigrant Part II
Six miles later, there are several things that I do know. Today’s rally was very positive and only had two arrests. The rally was 75,000 strong and was praised by many for being peaceful. What I learned most is that these people that are here illegally just want people to know that they are not criminals and want their dignity. The streets of downtown were entrenched with a sea of white shirts to serve as a reminder to the American public that the Immigrant is an integral part of the US economy and by trying to deport 11 million people it would cripple itself in the process.
