The Strokes are starting 2020 with a vengeance.

Our favorite LES quintet packed up and headed west to record their first full length in seven years with the announcement of “The New Abnormal” scheduled for release April 10 via Cult/RCA Records.

The sixth album was recorded by producing master, Rick Rubin, at the Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, California.

Watch the Mike Burakoff directed video below of “At The Door” that highly resembles an off-beat ’80s animated feature with an extremely sinister twist.

Last night saw The Strokes throw their support behind Democratic presidential nominee, Bernie Sanders at the University of New Hampshire rally.

You might also notice that the album cover to “The New Abnormal” is the “Bird on Money” painting by the late Jean-Michel Basquiat (RIP).
