Summer in Colorado can only mean one thing: music festivals galore. In their sophomore year, Velorama is back with a more eclectic lineup than last year. 2017 saw Death Cab for Cutie, Wilco and the New Pornographers as first year headliners. This year, Velorama makes an attempt at a more eclectic lineup that matches their RiNo Art District surroundings.

I may be alone with this sentiment, but it feels like Cold War Kids play any festival here in Denver. With the exception of Vince Staples, the safe lineup is bland and caters to an older demographic with cycling at heart. Things you’ll find at Velorama: craft booze, bike racing, food trucks and music. At the end of the day on a beautiful summer day in Denver, what else could be any more Coloradical?
