The Swell

Art happenings can happen any other day of the month that isn’t First Friday , you know.

DENVER, CO–WIN WEAR, a Denver art collective, wants to excite your senses on Friday, September 26th with their upcoming show “The Swell.” For $10, you will be treated to art, music, food, and plenty of Great Divide beer. The art forms, in their own unique ways, will exude themes relating to inspiration and development. It is happening at 7 pm at Object + Thought, 3559 Larimer Street.

“The Swell” will showcase artwork by Erin Reid and Brandon Weaver; each with their own distinctive styles. Look for a collaborative piece that will be completed the evening of. Scott Beck and Mark Shusterman will compose the show’s music, with an improvised work for the live painting. Andre DiMattia will craft the event’s food, which will keep with the show’s themes. Make sure to arrive on time to enjoy all of DiMattia’s courses.

Wanting to develop a new concept for showcasing local artists, Beck and Shusterman decided to created WIN WEAR. Their art collective has blossomed into a practical vehicle for creativity, which has provided Denver with several events. “The Swell” is WIN WEAR’s fifth event, its third at Object + Thought.
