This week is New Order week for C=T. Tonight’s show is one of those bucketlist moments that I’ve been salivating for over twenty years. I’ve seen two of the three possible shows that were possible in my lifetime, and tonight will be the last. Radiohead being first, Pavement and New Order rounding out the top three. I figured with New Order making their return to Denver, why not celebrate tonight’s joyous occasion with a recording from a show at Denver’s own majestic piece of heaven, Red Rocks. The 1989 tour supported the release of “Technique” with Public Image Ltd and Sugar Cubes offering support in opening roles. My excitement has been off the charts for the last couple of days, making last night nearly impossible to fall asleep. A big thanks to the Joy Division/New Order bootleg show.
