In the ultimate F U to Bernard Sumner and the crew, Peter Hook has decided to take the Joy Division act a step further. 2013 will see Peter Hook + the Lightplaying New Order classic albums “Movement” and “Power, Corruption & Lies” in Manchester. So much for the band getting back together. There’s a solid chance that Hook might do what he did with the Joy Division by going on a massive world tour to perform the two masterpieces. If New Order were smart, they would kiss and makeup. Sigh. In related New Order news, head over here to check out New Order’s live set from Festival No.6 in Portmeirion and a chat with lead vocalist Bernard Sumner.
