Pure Bathing Culture studied VH1 classic to a fault and it shows.

The Portland act leans heavily on the whimsical voice of Sarah Versprille and Daniel Hindman’s expert guitar noodling. Not enough is mentioned of Hindman’s abilities, but his craftsmanship is the tie that binds the duo together.

Pure Bathing Culture released their ode to “Gypsy” with the video release of “All Night.” Versprille captures the true essence of early ’80s videos accompanied by falling rain, fog machines and blowing wind. The best part is the creative design of the video is done so tastefully that the least bit of irony isn’t detected.

Look for the duo to release their album, ” Night Pass,” April 26 with an upcoming tour that will see them opening up for American Football and Lucius.
