TYLER CHILDERS “PURGATORY”

Country crooner, Tyler Childers, is taking his Kentuckian gospel on the road. But before he starts his “Purgatory” tour, Childers stopped by the comfy setting of NPR’s “Tiny Desk” series for a three song set that stripped the Sturgill Simpson disciple’s music to absolute bare bones: a mic, acoustic guitar and songs of strife. If you missed the 2017 album, “Purgatory,” do yourself a favor and grab a bottle of bourbon and drown your sorrows in the hearth of one of the best country albums in recent memory.
