Yoga gear is a multi million dollar industry. Stretchy breathable clothing brings people together. Such is the case with Frenship. Duo James Sunderland and Brett Hite created music elasticity working at yoga clothing shop Lululemon and the rest is downward dog (see what I did there). The first sample from the SoCal act comes off of their forthcoming debut EP with a sugary tinged single, “Carpet.” Inspiration for the track comes from broken love (which can be cruel 99% of the time) as explained by Frenship member James:

“Carpet was written during a stressful time in my life where I was feeling like I couldn’t get my feet under me. It’s about a conversation I had with an ex while we were lying on the carpet floor of my room and she was telling me I had to “do more” with my life. It’s a conversation that still rings in my head to this day.”
