This Sunday the 17th, Cruel Hand from Portland, Maine will be playing at the Marquis Theatre in downtown Denver gracing the ears of all who attend.

It’ll be a show that fans of hardcore punk will not want to miss. With their newest album out from 2014, The Negatives, fans should expect to hear several of those tracks along with their previous albums, Without a Pulse, Prying Eyes, and Lock & Key. Their music, full of upbeat, heavy punk riffs, and breakdowns will be sure to set a intense and captivating mood. Since the show is at the Marquis, it’ll be a prime setting to go crazy, crowd surf, stage dive, or just get your pulse racing. The venue is small and intimate, with the stage at a lower level so the band is almost eye to eye with the crowd. The careful construction of the venue is great because the shows feel less like a performance, but rather, an experience between the musicians and fans. Cruel Hand always puts on a great, high-energy show and this Sunday should be highly anticipated. Opening for them is Drug Church, a hardcore band from New York and two other hardcore bands hailing from right here in Denver, Uneasy Peace and Anterroir. Their engaging music will be a great way to start the night off pumped from the very first track you hear. If you’re in the hardcore scene, or just feel like checking out a rad show to jam, head to the Marquis this Sunday at 7.
