One of my favorite albums of all time is “Stories from the City Stories from the Sea” by Polly Jean Harvey. The album was written as a love/hate story to New York. The crazy thing is that the album was released around the same time as 9/11 , my 21st birthday, and my first visit to the big city, and kind of a crazy time. Her new album, “Let England Shake”, slated for release Feb 15th 2011 via Vagrant Records. The new album was produced and mixed by Depeche Mode co-conspirator, Flood, in a 19th Century church in Dorset. You can listen to a new track from “Let England Shake” titled, “Written on the Forehead”, here. Look for PJ to tour in 2011!
