Talk about not falling to the Sophomore Slump. SF’s great hope, Film School have unexpectedly released one of my favorite albums of the year. The album takes the best from Brit Shoegaze, incorporates some early Cure, and some Bauhaus for good measure. The distortion is heavenly and could put anybody into a dreamlike state within seconds upon listening to the album. The album Hideout will be released Sept. 11th via Beggar’s Banquet.
