Sasha decided to grant the good people at Vinyl a pretty good gift, he decided to play a 4 hour set to make up for his quasi no-show from 2 months ago. I remember that night because it was 11 degrees below 0 that night. No snow, just really flippin’ cold. from 10-1 am sasha played by himself on the main floor, and Lee Burridge played the same shift, only downstairs. Now keep in mind we had left Editors a little early to see some of the Sasha spectacle that would ensue. No real suprises when we showed up, Sasha playing routine slow trance. We ventured downstairs to find an exuberant Lee Burridge throwin some mad flava for all the kids wanting something a little harder. After a while, I started to get antsy so I just did a little people gazing, and stumbled upon this crazy photo shoot out of a Victoria’s Secret catalog. And if I don’t say so myself, I thought it to be bloody brilliant. The tag team went on without a hitch at 1. I think that they complimented each other well, but at any given moment you always knew who was teacher and pupil. Towards the end, we noticed a familar track that Sasha threw on that tried to hook the crowd, and it was none other than “Camera” by Editors which we just saw 3 hours prior. We were pretty tripped out, but the remix was a total surprise. It’s a Junkie XL remix and just ended the night in perfect fashion.
