for my departure to Austin for SXSW, and every post will include an artist/group that I am excited about seeing…let’s call it the 21 days to freedom post, yeah, that sounds good….so without further adieu, my first selection has to be Editors… I’ve been hooked on them for a minute, fo sho’!!! They are an amazing pop/rock band from Birmingham, England, and if I’m not mistaken, I believe they hale from the same stomping grounds as the Sabbath and Judas Priest, those are kind of big shoes to fill, but these kids from Editors played to all sold out crowds in the couple of shows they have played in the states…

as a matter of fact they will play on a Friday night at the Ritz Blender Bar, which in the past has proven to be hohum as far as night shows go, but lets hope they got their act together…
