Bad Tits

Sebastien Grainger has made a couple of waves since the split of DFA 1979 (which btw is on my top 5 list of loudest shows I’ve ever witnessed) is back with a vengeance. Continue reading

The opening duties for Metric on their Summer tour goes to Sebastien Grainger & the Mountains. Phew, I was worried that the Saddle Creek kids weren’t going to be coming our way, but instead, they’re coming in a huge way, supporting Metric. If you haven’t had a chance to listen to the new project, it rings like slowed down version of DFA 1979 , with more chops.

I had forgotten all about Sebastien’s new project with the Mountains until SXSW a couple of weeks ago. We were leaving Mohawk and heard them playing at Club Deville. We were uber late meeting some friends and I regret not just telling everybody that I would catch up with them because of how rocking the show sounded. Alas, there are some videos below, and one in particular was shot by Sebastien. They’re on tour right now, so don’t sleep on them.
