CMJ In the Words of Seth
My friend Seth and your friend Seth did CMJ and he sent me a cryptic yet brief message, “Sup dooder? CMJ was illness. Passion Pit, All The Saints, Friendly Fires, and Little Boots were some favorites.”
Chris posted about Friendly Fires yesterday and I figured lightening had struck twice. I think Seth was right.

Lemonade
I don’t know if it’s self indulgent to release a remix album of your self titled album that was just released, but Lemonade just did that and it’s very reminiscent of what a harder Underworld was doing in the mid 90’s. The tripped out vocals layered over euphoric beats make this trio the perfect supporting cast for their upcoming tour with El Guincho, plus they’re also making a CMJ appearance this week as well, no Denver date to report of 🙁

This track has been floating forever, but I caught the video of Little Boots (Victoria from Dead Disco) performing Stuck on Repeat on BV and I can’t stop playing the video. Her voice and style have me hypnotized and she’s doing CMJ all week, so do yourself a favor and catch her live set with backing band.
