Benzos
The name would lead you to believe that I was referring to a vehicle of the Mercedes persuasion. Ones often mentioned in hip-hop or rap. However, Benzos is the name of one of NYC’s next wave of shoegazers. So what if they sound more UK than they do NYC. The music stands on its own with its electronic samples anthemic rock leanings. Benzos are releasing their second album, Branches, August 7th on Stinky Records.
