@ Rhinoceropolis, June 15th

Kickball, a trio hailing from Olympia, WA who make energetic, just-loud-enough pop music, are coming to Denver. Touring in support of their latest release, Everything Is A Miracle Nothing Is A Miracle Everything Is along with Lyon, France’s Clara Clara, Kickball will be playing at Rhinoceropolis on June 15th.
The band, who borrowed their name from their favorite sport, offers a sound most comparable to Make Believe or early Modest Mouse. After three prior releases (a self-tilted EP in 2002, Huckleberry Eater in 2003, and ABCDEFGHIJKickball in 2006), Everything Is A Miracle Nothing Is A Miracle Everything Is is their strongest album to date with a live performance to match. Expect to shout along to undeniably infectious refrains and get real sweaty during Kickball’s endearingly quirky set.
