This year’s KBCO friendly-festival brought the kids out to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in droves to see the very “Bro” friendly headliners, Dave Matthews Band and Jack Johnson. Which isn’t such a bad thing, when you consider the financial climate that music promoters find themselves in and what they need to do to sell tickets. If an ACL formula could be followed, a music festival in Denver could possibly rival one of the big guys from Indio or Chicago. I predict Coldplay headlining next year. They have a new album coming out next year, right? The weather held up nicely all weekend and the plethora of tantalizing food choices rivaled any music festival that I have ever attended. Any food court that includes Biker Jim’s already gets an E for effort. You can see a gallery of photos that I took for the Denver Post Reverb Section of Day 1 and Day 2, here and here, respectively.
