Spinoffs Sometime Succede

I can’t say that I really like any spin offs. Take Saved by the Bell: College Years, AWFUL. Different World, LAME. Friends had Joey spin off, we won’t even get into that one. My point is that Grey’s Anatomy last Thursday was breaking us in to what the future will hold. It’s a new spin off titled Private Practice, and the show revolved around Dr. Montgomery and her new found life in Los Angeles. Meh…. Last Thursday’s episode was a two hour one and it dragged on and on and on. Though, the show has lost its luster, it does from time to time have good music. There was a scene that had Dr. Montgomery traveling from Seattle to LA and it had a very good lil tune that was very applicable to the scene. It was from a band that I wasn’t familiar with , their name is The Mary Onettes, who are as obsessed with the 80’s music scene as I am. You would swear that they were from back in the day and opening up for Depeche Mode on the Music for Masses Tour. They’re from Sweden and have been around for six years and are just getting their first break. You can purchase their album here.
