The hills of Los Angeles are alive with the hazy shade of pop that Letting Up Despite Great Faults crafts. The quartet released their S/T last October and going on tour to support the album with a final stop in Austin for SXSW. Their beats swirl like the Santa Ana winds causing their fuzzy distorted guitars to blaze slowly. The comparisons to Postal Service are unwarranted, however, the ones to Radio Dept. and M83 aren’t so much. The downtempo tracks are all kinds of shimmery ambient crescendos crashing like the waves in the Pacific. Catch them on tour and you can purchase their album here.
