Rockabilly, Gypsy Country, Goth Twang,Gangstabilly, they all get clumped together, and I’m taking a stand. They deserve to be all set apart, especially ’round these parts in Denver. We are blessed with our fair share of those bands, however, when I listen to Murder by Death , I always feel that they should be from my hood but it turns out that they’re from Indiana, go figure. Look for them on tour in support of the new album and in May with Reverend Horton Heat .
The album, In Bocca Al Lupo (which loosely translates to good luck) is scheduled to be released in the US May 23rd and on March 5 in the UK on Cooking Vinyl .Buy it here ! By the by, I don’t know if you have ever noticed this, but whenever I listen to these guys, I always feel like a gunfight,knifefight, or somebody should be walking the plank while listening to their music.
