I have probably missed two episodes in the four years that the OC has been on FOX. These last couple of months have been the pits and last night I had TIVO’d the show and thank gawd, I probably watched 5 mins of the episode. Nothing happened, and the pregnancy of Kirsten is one of the worst story lines ever introduced in any show, period. The last montage where everybody comes together in the hospital with Taylor’s mom was right up there with the pregnancy storyline (Bloc Party-Kreuzberg [mp3] playing in the background). Taylor’s mom’s heart is softening, and why not, the show is almost over and pretty much running on fumes. Thankfully, next week, the proverbial fork will be stuck in the show.
