Andrew Bird’s poignant performance last night was one of those shows that you read about in a Spin where they show everybody having a good time and taking in an AMAZING show. He is an amazing string player and a great lyricist. The tempo of the show was flawless and held the attention of the audience for the duration of the show. I have missed him on two occassions and I would not be denied this time. His performance was the perfect compliment as openers for Devotchka. Last night was the first of two shows that are commemorating the New Year.
