Canadian scuzz fiends, Women, showed up to the Larimer Lounge with their dreamy vocals and super extended solos. I didn’t see the Phish-esque type jams coming, but they made it work to their advantage making the crowd surrender to the improvisational chops the Woman-less band. The guys are riding high on their Jagjaguwar S/T release that has been getting a lot of airplay at my cubicle.
