The boys from Fullerton have shown that their more than a blog fad or flash in the pan Friday night at a sweaty and very sold-out Boulder Theater. Nathan Willet’s voice carried for miles and probably heard well over at the Sink up on the Hill. One thing that I did recently was an interview from Westword where the interviewer tried to coerce Willet into fessing up to his Christian fed or beliefs. Their music can stand on it’s own and doesn’t need to be pigeon-holed into any set category. I can appreciate the music for the rock/blues element that they offer. Did I mention that the heavy CU student body sold out the Boulder Theater. Yeah, don’t be surprised if they come back around playing the Fillmore.
