Don’t consider Lupe as odd man out because he’s one of the few hip-hop acts on the heavily hippie ready bill for MHMF. I overheard five different kids stating that they had driven to Denver just to see Lupe. He has a strong underground hip-hop flava that doesn’t get a lot of radio/TV play but every kid in the crowd screamed his lyrics as if they had penned it themselves. One of the strongest crowd turn-outs that I had seen all day and the energy was felt in the back outside the tent.
