In a night where things got off to the wrong foot, the tide changed and so did the crowd. Grizzly Bear was unable to make the trek to Boulder due to van malfunctions so the duties of opening were left to one of the musicians from Feist’s backup band. Not what I was expecting, but the chap did his best. As for Feist, she was electric to the sold out theatre. I don’t thing that this place was nearly as packed when Broken Social Scene came by just two years ago. At that time, Feist was opening up for BSS. I don’t remember her voice being this great. For being pint sized, her range is tremendous, and really knows how to get the crowd involved.
