The name of their bands sounds like a band about to embark on the Vans Warped Tour for the Summer, but don’t let that fool you. They are a 9 piece collective, count that 12345678&9….dang son, almost ran out of fingers. I love collectives for the simple reason that chances are, there is going to be an accordion, xylophone, trumpet, cowbell, triangle, or a combination of all of the above. The group as a result of the collective sound allows for a dynamic that changes by the song. Influences stated on their MySpace Page are Broken Social Scene (heart melts), the Microphones, and Deerhoof. Not bad, yes?
