Gomez-The Eight Year WaitI have waited to see them for eight years. I have liked them since I graduated from high school and can only say that I dreamt about seeing these guys. I often wondered what they would open up with on any given night. Totally well worth the wait. I can’t believe how talented these guys are and the dueling vocals sounded better in the latter part of the afternoon. They jammed hard and I can see why they are doing all those hippie jam band festivals. I could see where all those little hippie kids would think these guys are better than String Cheese or Yonder Mountain in a heartbeat (btw both of those bands are from my homestate of Colorado and are the quintessential hippie jam bands). They ended the set with “98 Stone Wobble” which was on of my favorites. BEAUTY!!!
