!!! – Myth Takes
My three favorite consecutive noises in a row are POW POW POW, although, some people prefer, CHK CHK CHK, or KA KA KA. Whatever the case maybe, their new album Myth Takes is being released via Warp Records March 6th. Write that down. What has time done to these cats? They have matured, not as abrasive, and dare I say gentler. Can it be true? Are they going in a different direction? Probably not. The song below is the most unsounding !!! song I have ever heard. It’s my favorite on the album because it’s so different than anything I have ever heard before produced by the dancing machine supergroup. I could be wrong, but I don’t ever remember there ever being female vocals on any of their records, and I like the change in tempo on some of the songs with the dueling male/female vocals. Sometimes things just need a female’s touch.
