Happy Thanksgiving!!! Feliz dia de gracias!!!

I promise not to neglect you guys for this long. I have been super lethargic and didn’t go to the last couple of shows last week. I missed She Wants Revenge, The Joggers, and Diamond Nights. On the other hand, I did score free tickets to the Bronx show this Sunday and West Indian Girl Show next week. I did’t get a chance to see West Indian Girl this past SXSW for they were at the Astralwerks showcase across flippin town, so I am kind of psyched to see this one. TOP 10 Dissapointments/Overhyped Albums of the Year

think that is more of what I am feeling this year. There were a couple of good albums, but nothing too memorabuld probably count 10 good/decent albums. In no particular order…..

Ben Lee-What happened, I guess Claire Daines didn’t prove to be that much of a heartache, because this last release has no soul. I really thought she would have been a little more inspiration…..

Animal Collective– Basically everyone and their grandmother are jocking these guys, like really hard… I guess I don’t really see it.
Beck-You were doing so well changing up the style of every album, what happened?

Weezer-We’re all on drugs…. This album was a stinker, confirmed by my roomate Steve.

Death Cab-1st release on Atlantic proved to be a commercial success. There was 2 good songs on the album, what happened to the rest?

Stephen Malkmus– This one really kills me…I listened to this album over and over, trying to give it the benefit of the doubt. You break my heart Mr. Malkmus.

Kaiser Chiefs-These guys are pretty limy.

Nine Inch Nails– More cock rock and mid life crisis, do we really need this Trent?

The White Stripes-I don’t like the direction that they are going in.

Franz Ferdinand-Wow, and I thought the Backstreet Boys albums were overproduced.
