Travis

It was in the early 00’s (so weird when I type that, it makes me feel OLD), the UK was exporting bands like Coldplay, Elbow, South, & Travis. The rest as we know is history. Often seen as a softer Coldplay (is that even possible?) , the group has consistently put out the same kind of album five times. The sixth and most recent, Ode to J. Smith, is moodier and explores a side of Travis never seen in the anthology of the group. The most recent release was a quiet one but the group is venturing out in support of Peter Gabriel in the Motherland and also trekking across the US.

  1. Coldplay soft..how dare you…Chris Martin and Jay Z are boys…that gives them street cred.

  2. if he were boyz w/jeezy “puttin on for their city” , then I would call them hard.
