Fiction Family

The unseemly duo of Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek and Jon Foreman from Switchfoot (WTF?!) have come together in musical matrimony to create Fiction Family. The two met at a gig w/REM, Nickel Creek, Wilco, and Switchfoot. They flirted with a song here and there and the harmless flirtation has budded into a full fledged album consisting of 12 songs for their forthcoming S/T album to be released by ATO Jan 20th. I’m a huge fan of Nickel Creek, so this concept has piqued my interest, and though they aren’t touring Denver, they’ll be hitting up some other towns…
