It only took six years, but Vampire Weekend is BACK!
“Modern Vampires of the City” was released in 2013, back when they had multi-instrumentalist Rostam Batmanglij. Since that time, we’ve seen a couple of political rallies (yay Bernie Bros?), several tours and the super bizarre animated series on Netflix, “Neo Yokio” created by Ezra Koenig.
2019 is a new year for the New Yorkers and a new label. Last week saw the release of two singles by Vampire Weekend with the debut of the noodly “Harmony Hall” and the atmospheric “2021” scheduled to appear on the upcoming “Father of the Bride” out Spring 2019.
Tickets for the Vampire Weekend 2019 Tour go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, February 8th at 12pm local time at LiveNation.com.
