The commanding presence of Icelandic mega group Sigur Ros took over the majestic setting known as Red Rocks this past weekend. And, though I wasn’t able to get any good pics, it didn’t deter me from enjoying the sheer beauty and talent that echoed from the bottom of the amphitheater to the top of one of the world’s great wonders. The moving music had the sold out crowd (it looked like it from where we were at)sitting the vast majority of the show, for the exception of some of the faster numbers. It was my first time hear them breathe any words that were actually English, which was kind of weird. I couldn’t think of a better way to end the Summer concert season at Red Rocks than by seeing one of the most prolific bands that this Earth will ever know.
