Ariel Pink commemorated the life of the late Bobby Jameson last night at the Bluebird Theater in Denver. Los Angeles’ proud son successfully emulated a live re-enactment of what a potential acid trip would like in front of a packed house. It’s safe to say that the stage banter contributed to the weirdo scene amongst fans.

Keep in mind that the bizarre behavior was isolated to one side of the stage, namely, the three vocalists on hand. All quirkiness aside, the rest of the musicians on stage handled all shenanigans like professionals and plowed through their set.
Ariel did break his character at one point to shed light to the abysmal lighting problem in the venue. We couldn’t see much of anything on stage, save for the makeshift graveyard adorned with a mess of spiderwebs.
Catch the antics of team Pink on tour (dates below) and watch their latest video for “I Wanna Be Young” taken from the 2017 release, “Dedicated to Bobby Jameson.” Fun fact: Salvador Cresta shot the latest clip for about the price of a movie ticket ($17).
