We were one of the fortunate people to win tickets for the event through the lottery system. I couldn’t believe how fortunate we were to even be in attendance. Last night was a night for the history books and the air was magical and the crowd was electric. I liked that they had a couple of ordinary people tell their story and why Obama is their man. All joking aside, it really did feel good to be an American last night. I saw a McCain ad last night on TV where he congratulated Obama for becoming the first African American nominated for president. It was weird and I thought I was in an alternate universe. Answer Obama’s call to get involved by starting a new career in education.
