These United States

A band name like These United States would only deserve to cloak themselves in the red, white, and blue. Another acceptable form would be writing earnest songs with a twang twinge infused from beginning to end. I’m a little upset at myself for missing their show at the Hi-Dive last Saturday, but I think I may catch them when they come through Boulder over Labor Day.
