Domino Releasing New Malkmus Single 08/28

Domino Records will be releasing the new Malkmus Single “Kindling for the Master” on August 28th. Many have abandoned Malkmus due to his penchant for sweet jamming. I am not one of those people, and can safely say that I enjoy his solo material as much as his work w/Pavement. The single is remixed by several acts, namely Hot Chip (blog world favorite) , Emperor Machine, Palmo Polpo and Major Swellings.
