UK artist Leon Else took everything in a suitcase to the sunny hills of Los Angeles to chase a dream in music with Interscope Records.Else came to the sobering realization that despite the otherwise sunny weather, SoCal can be a cruel bitch. Else learned quickly and put the isolating thoughts to music with the synthy number, “The City Don’t Care.” The song title could be easily mistaken for a Bret Easton Ellis novel that lodged between “Less Than Zero” and “Rules of Attraction.”
