I’ve never been to J-Hole but this seems like the perfect opportunity. It’s a bit on the hacky-sack patchouli side, but the beauty of the landscape could counteract any of the granola effects felt by some acts set to perform.

Jackson Hole Music Festival is a two-day event held at the base of the Bridger Gondola in Teton Village. The first year festival will bring together some of the most respected artists in popular music in a breath-taking location at the foot of the Grand Tetons.

This year’s event will start on Saturday, August 16th from 11:30 am to 8:00pm and continue on Sunday, August 17th from 11:30 am to 8:00pm.

A partial lineup for the 2008 Jackson Hole Music Festival has been announced! More marquee names will be added to the lineup and announced in the coming weeks. Single day tickets for Saturday and Sunday, as well as a limited number of special Two-Day Passes are on-sale May 30th!

General Information
Parking
There is parking available at the “Ranch Lot” in Teton Village. Additional parking for the event will be staged at Stilson Ranch which is 5 miles away from the festival site. Shuttle buses to the event will be arranged with START the local transit in Jackson Hole. As always Festival Network highly encourages patrons to consider carpooling whenever possible.

Vending
There will be a variety of delicious, diverse and reasonably priced foods available to the general public. If you wish to become a food & beverage vendor at Jackson Hole Music Festival, please email [email protected]

Alcohol
There will be beer and wine available to the general public, for sale and consumption in designated areas in the venue. Alcohol does not go on sale until 12:00 pm each day.

Merchants

Lodging

Camping
There is currently no on site camping available at the festival however several camping areas are within close proximity, please check www.jacksonhole.com for available sites.

Rules & Regulations
No glass containers of any kind, alcohol, professional photography equipment, weapons, fireworks, illegal substances, pets, bicycles, skateboards, large coolers, lawn chairs (excluding low seated concert chairs), umbrellas or any other item at may impair another patron’s ability to see the stages.

Seating
All general admission tickets are lawn seating. We highly encourage you to bring blankets or low-back concert chairs.

Re-Entry
All patrons will be permitted to leave and re-enter the festival grounds once they trade in their ticket for a Jackson Hole Music Festival wristband.

Persons with Disabilities
Generally speaking, the terrain at Eagle’s Rest is level. Although the main festival site is a grass field, there are some roadways and other accessible paths to maneuver around the venue. In addition, there will be a reserved disability section available on-site, which is partially accessible by a concrete path. Some chairs are provided in this section, though a chair is not guaranteed. Due to the limited amount of space, each person with a disability may bring one companion into this area. Families of two adults and children less than 18 years of age, are permitted to stay together in the reserved section.

Volunteers
We are always looking for friendly, helpful, reliable volunteers to help at the Jackson Hole Music Festival. Volunteering is a great way to experience a music festival. Another advantage is that you get in to the festival for free!

Requirements
# You must be 18 years of age.
# You will be requested to work two shifts, each between four (4) to six (6) hours. Shift times and hours will vary from person to person. As a volunteer, you must be flexible.
# Volunteers must be on-time and accessible at the time of their shift.
# Volunteer positions are fulfilled on a first come, first serve basis.

Jobs
There are a number of different jobs available to you as volunteer for the festival. They include everything from information booths, street teams, vendor setup, staff catering, dressing room maintenance, etc. Generally speaking, volunteers are available to help where and when needed.
