I’m just going to put this out there right now, please stop with the Keane references when describing Air Traffic. Granted their new album is a bit on the soft side and their music could easily be construed in that manner, but their live show should alleviate any concerns. Their band of melodic pop came across as raucous and a bit out of control (which was good). Their boisterousness had the crowd in a mad frenzy and it was a good thing because the group hadn’t started and I had overheard people asking “who the fuck are these guys?” I bumped into Luke who writes local blog Someone to Love More Than Music and he has a great interview which can be read here.
