Passion Pit

The pride of New England (sorry, Patriots), Passion Pit, played to a heavily sold out show Wednesday night. Indietronica’s heavy hitters proved that even after three albums, there is still plenty of new material to explore without being accused of being one dimensional. Passion Pit is currently promoting their latest album, “Kindred,” with a tour that is wrapping up.

Lead voalist, Michael Angelakos, led a full frontal assault that catapulted fans early with an extra jovial “Little Secrets” and current hit, “1989.” Angelakos’ panache onstage created a larger than life persona that is a massive step for the frontman. Michael has come a long way from having to cancel shows due to a mental condition to creating a frenetic energy onstage that won over fans early and often.
