Movie Review-Clerks II.

There has been a lot of talk about this movie release this week. It was screened by critics a week ago and Joel Siegel’s famous outburst sent the media into a frenzy. He was quoted as saying as he stormed out 40 minutes into the movie , “Time to go! First movie I’ve walked out of in 30 fucking years.” Them fightin’ words I reckon. Joel Siegel and his moo-stache were on a mission and it didn’t include the ending of Clerks II. I have to admit I was very adamant about seeing this movie. I felt the original is a cult classic and why did Kevin Smith have to ruin a good thing. I went into the movie immediately hating on the idea. I walked out wanting to see it again. The movie was sheer genius, hysterical, and lewd, not for the faint hearted. But what can you expect from a Kevin Smith movie, surely not rainbows and butterflies. All the normal cast made all their cameos, even Ben Affleck, ughh, lame!! That is my only beef with the movie, because Jason Lee’s cameo was hysterical and all around brilliant.
