The War on Drugs have announced their follow to their smash EP, “Future Weather,” with fantastic news of a full length. Fans can look forward to “Slave Ambient” August 16th on Secretly Canadian. I had initially felt that the FM radio ready anthems I heard on their EP were akin to “the Boss” but after further consideration, there’s a strong connection to Mark Knopfler // Dire Straits, but not as nasally. I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again, but it’s the type of music you throw on to accompany the sunset on a long road-trip.
