In a warm up for this coming Saturday for the Denver Post Underground Music Showcase, I caught Cat-a-tac at the Larimer Lounge BBQ highlighting some of the best talent from here in the 303… It was well worth the wait, because every time I tried to catch these guys, I went out of town, or was unavailable. What I didn’t‘ know, is that the band has two vocalists, a smashing drum set, and a bassist that must have his fingers all bruised from playing his bass so hard. The sound is reminiscent of early Smiths tunes and have a larger than life sound, even larger than their album , which you can buy here here.
