NYC kids came to Denver and conquered, sporting their Topsiders no less. The guys proved prepsters can rock just as hard as the rest of them indie kids…. Oxford Coma took on another life live. The roof was blown off and the guys were kind enough to humor us next door at Sputnik in the photo booth. Do yourself a favor, and catch them in your hometown, seriously. They were just noted in the latest Spin Magazine as one of the bands to download. I expect nothing but good things from these guys in the future. The guys said to look for a new album in January or February and a couple more Singles/EP’s before the end of the year with another tour on the way. It’s pretty amazing how things are coming together for the band, despite only touring in support of one EP, and playing an entire show that consisted of at least twelve tracks. Pretty impressive.
