Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris, and Amanda Shires make up the country supergroup, The Highwomen.

The play on words is a tribute to the Highwaymen ( Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson). For those of you that missed it, the Highwomen contributed music to the motion picture, “the Kitchen” starring Melissa McCarthy.

The ladies visited with Jimmy Fallon to record a truly inspiring take on the Fleetwood Mac classic of “Tthe Chain” that also includes Jason Isbell on guitar.

Look for the self-titled debut to hit the streets September 6 via Low Country Sound/Elektra Records
