Co-headlining tours are sometimes a crapshoot with both acts getting the raw end of the stick.

Fortunately for fans and both artists, Lil Pump and Lil Skies took the stage with differing styles of bravado. Lil Skies, fresh off of his sophomore album, “Shelby,” left everything on the stage, including his hat.

The raw energy and sheer emotion of the Pennsylvania artist connected with the insanely young crowd in ways that are rarely seen in live settings with the resounding level of success witnessed on East Colfax last night.

Both rappers differing styles played out and couldn’t be more obvious: Skies is more of a finesse lyrical assassin, whereas, Lil Pump’s swagger deviates from his brash delivery and sweltering confidence.

There’s no denying the brilliantly schemed co-headlining tour commanded a perfect synergy that couldn’t have been better planned. As an added bonus, Machine Gun Kelly made an appearance as Lil Pump’s hype guy where the two decided to make the latter part of the show a “Cirque du Soleil” inspired affair by climbing on the rafters like a pair of contortionists.

Catch the “Harverd Dropout” on tour for the rest of the month of May.
